Sylvia brought Hardy over. I nearly jumped out of my skin, when I saw the two coming down the pavement and I ran to open the door and waved to them.
“Can you keep him over today?”
“Don’t think you’re forgiven!” she warned me, but smiled then suspiciously and pushed Hardy towards the chairs. “Thanks!”
